We are here to help families and co-workers pick up the pieces when they lose their officer.  We offer support in rebuilding their lives by offering peer support as we have been down this road.  We go to trial with the family when there is a trial and  parole hearings.  One of the biggest ways that we help the family is be sending a representative from our chapter with the family when they go to National Police Week as this week can be very overwhelming for the family.  The representative from our chapter stays close to the family during this week and is there to offer support and guidance.
